The
Lagos State Government has announced that it will provide free bus
services today to Lagosians to mark the end of the Ramadan fasting.
According to a statement from the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), operators of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Bus Franchise Scheme (BFS) will carry passengers free on their respective transit corridors.
Free service will be offered commuters on the BRT corridor from Mile 12 to CMS by 1st BRT Cooperative Society, operator of the Mile 12 to CMS BRT system while Capetrust Investment Ltd, operator of the BFS will offer services along its corridor – Maryland – Ikeja-Iyana-Ipaja – Ikotun- Igando axis of Alimoso and Ikeja Local Governments.
